It was a rainy Tuesday afternoon in Istanbul, the kind of grey, drizzling day that makes the cobblestones slick and forces everyone indoors. Inside the humble apartment of Cemal Usta, a master plumber with a heart of gold and a head full of gray hair, a crisis was brewing.
Cemal sat on his worn-out sofa, staring at the glowing screen of his laptop. His wife, Müzeyyen, was in the kitchen brewing tulip tea, the clinking of porcelain the only sound breaking the tension.

Whether it is the frantic attempts to find a wedding singer or the cultural clashes between the Sivas villagers and the foreign guests, the film finds laughter in local quirks without being condescending. This authenticity is bolstered by the film's location shooting in and Erzincan , which provides a grounded, visual texture to the comedy.
