The character development in this show is top-notch, and I'm loving how each episode explores the quirks and backstories of our favorite ghosts.

Jay and Sam are desperate for the B&B to get a positive write-up in a local publication to drive bookings. They invite a young, trend-focused journalist to stay. The comedy of errors ensues as they try too hard to manufacture "authenticity" and "vibes." This plotline serves as a foil to Flower’s story: while Sam and Jay are obsessed with their curated public image, Flower is haunted by an authentic past she tried to bury. The journalist eventually sees through the ruse, but appreciates the genuine quirkiness of the house (aided inadvertently by the ghosts' unseen interference). ghosts s01e07 bd9
