We meet (Óscar Redondo), the real-life longtime president of CONMEBOL. Leoz lives like a colonial caudillo in Asunción. He controls everything: TV rights, sponsorships, referees. He meets Jadue and immediately tests him – asking for a bribe disguised as a "collaboration fee."
The "SATRip" aesthetic, with its traditional 4:3 or 16:9 broadcast framing, enhances the sitcom-like quality of Jadue’s early scenes. The visual language is straightforward, lacking the cinematic pretension of HBO mainstays, which allows the comedic timing of Parra to take center stage.
