When Pornography ended, with the final, whispered repetition of “I must fight this sickness… find a cure,” the room was silent. The rain had stopped. Leo’s ears rang.
Leo bought all three with money saved from bagging groceries. He walked home through the persistent rain, the plastic bag swinging at his side, feeling like a smuggler of precious contraband.
Often cited as one of the darkest albums ever made, this "masterpiece of existential dread" nearly broke the band. It remains a definitive pillar of goth culture. Mainstream Success and "The Trilogy" (1984–1992)
