Graphical Xtc -

Existing tools (VMD, PyMOL) render frames individually, not as a unified graphical compressed representation. Contribution: A method to embed an entire XTC trajectory into a single raster or vector graphic from which key dynamics can be reconstructed.

Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations generate massive trajectory files (XTC format). We propose — a method that converts spatial-temporal particle data into compact graphical representations (images, graphs, or sketches) while retaining essential dynamical features. Our approach reduces storage by 78% compared to standard XTC compression, enables quick visual inspection, and supports machine learning tasks directly from the graphical encoding. graphical xtc

Graphical XTC, a term that might seem novel to many, refers to the intersection of graphical design, technology, and the XTC (eXtreme Technology Crossover) philosophy. XTC, in its broad sense, represents a paradigm shift in how technology and art converge to create innovative and interactive experiences. When we infuse "graphical" into XTC, we are essentially discussing the visual and interactive manifestations of this convergence. This essay aims to explore the evolution of graphical XTC, its current state, and its impact on various sectors, including design, technology, and education.
