This paper examines the emerging phenomenon of "Jinx สแกน" within the Thai digital entertainment ecosystem. Focusing on the integration of scanning technologies—such as QR codes, real-time object recognition, and audience participation scans—by content creators using the moniker "Jinx," this study analyzes how scanning functions as a tool for engagement, monetization, and interactive storytelling. Drawing on case studies from live streaming platforms (e.g., Facebook Gaming, YouTube Live, Twitch), we explore the technical, cultural, and economic dimensions of this practice. Findings suggest that "scanning" transforms passive viewers into active participants, while also raising concerns about data privacy and digital literacy.
