One of the predators, a 44-year-old man from Mexico, gained Alicia's trust by sending her money and gifts online. He eventually convinced her to meet him in person, where he further exploited and abused her. Alicia was forced to endure countless acts of physical and emotional abuse, all while her mother and stepfather looked on, either willing participants or complicit in the abuse.
