Boruto Ep 18 Jun 2026

“Just tired,” Boruto lied.

“It’s a deal.”

For a moment, Boruto wanted to yell. To say it’s too late . Instead, he just threw his father a practice kunai.

Himawari is heartbroken. Boruto, furious at his father for sending a "fake" to his sister's birthday, snaps. When the real Naruto returns home late that night, Boruto shouts at him, calling him a liar and stating that he hates the Hokage title for stealing his father away.

: The episode includes a flashback to the day Naruto became Hokage, revealing how Himawari accidentally awakened her Byakugan and knocked out her father with a single strike, forcing Konohamaru to stand in for him at the ceremony.

Back in the present, Naruto arrives home to check on Himawari, surprising Boruto, who had been resentful of his father's constant absence. After a brief squabble over what the sick Himawari should eat, Hinata kicks both Naruto and Boruto out of the house to keep things quiet.

This episode serves as a "slice-of-life" breather following the action-heavy Ghost incidents (Nuiba). It focuses heavily on the dynamic between Naruto, Boruto, and the rest of the Uzumaki household, highlighting the strain of Naruto’s Hokage duties on his family life.
