Format C Drive Access
Warning: Using Diskpart is powerful but risky. If you select the wrong volume, you will erase data on the wrong drive.
Modern versions of Windows (Windows 10 and Windows 11) feature a built-in tool called "Reset this PC." This automatically formats your C drive and reinstalls a clean copy of Windows without requiring a separate USB drive. Step 1: Open Recovery Settings Click the menu and select the Settings gear icon. For Windows 10: Go to Update & Security > Recovery . For Windows 11: Go to System > Recovery . Step 2: Initiate the Reset
Run the tool, select , choose your USB drive, and wait for the download to finish. Step 2: Boot From the USB Drive format c drive
If you are using a bootable USB drive to install Windows, the setup process handles the formatting for you.
