"If I stay," Rissa said, a playful glint returning to her eyes, "I’m going to need a bigger bookshelf. Mine is overflowing." rissa may stay with me at home
Hey friends! I've got some exciting news to share! My friend Rissa might just be staying with me at home for a while, and I'm super thrilled about it!
"Okay," Rissa whispered, closing her eyes. "I’ll stay." "Consider it a contract," Elias smiled
The rain had been drumming a steady, rhythmic beat against the windowpane for three days straight. It was the kind of weather that made the world feel small, shrinking it down until it fit entirely within the four walls of a living room.
Furthermore, having Rissa stay with me could also bring a sense of stability and routine to my life. With her as a constant presence, I would have someone to rely on, someone who could provide emotional support and comfort. It could be especially helpful during difficult times, when I'm feeling overwhelmed or uncertain. Mine is overflowing
The idea of Rissa staying with me at home first surfaced a few weeks ago, when she found herself in a bit of a bind. Her living situation had become untenable, and she was in need of a temporary place to stay. Without hesitation, I offered her a roof over her head, and she gratefully accepted. What was initially supposed to be a short-term arrangement has now evolved into a more permanent solution, with Rissa considering the possibility of staying with me for an extended period.
Outside, the wind howled, rattling the eaves, but inside, the world was steady. The puzzle on the floor would wait. The book was forgotten. The invitation had been extended, and accepted, turning a house into a home.

Elias felt a familiar tightening in his chest. The idea of her driving back to an empty apartment, to a place that always felt a little too cold and a little too quiet, didn't sit right with him. He had spent too many years filling the silence with noise just to pretend it wasn't there. But with Rissa, the silence felt different. It felt full.
