One night, Orin’s shop is found ransacked — but nothing is stolen. Instead, someone added a mysterious, locked box to his stock. He begs the party to take it, track down its sender, and figure out why all his ledgers now have the same name written in them: a person who died twenty years ago.

These characters never leave their storefront. They stand safely behind counters in peaceful town squares, immune to outside conflict. They offer a sense of safety and permanence.
