The park’s landscape architects designed the pit not just for utility, but for connection. Large, hewn-stone seating surrounds the fire circle, encouraging conversation. It’s not uncommon to see groups of friends roasting marshmallows, couples watching the sunset, or cyclists stopping to warm their hands after a long ride along the Martin Goodman Trail.

While the pit structure is provided, wood is not. You will need to bring your own seasoned firewood. Note: Transporting firewood long distances can spread invasive insects; it’s best to buy local kiln-dried wood from a Toronto hardware store or delivery service.

Trillium Park features three distinct fire pit areas, often referred to as "pods." They are located along the waterfront section of the park.

All bookings must be made through the Ontario Place Fire Pit Reservation page .
