Mel, thanks for taking the time to chat with us today. Can you tell us a bit about your background in cheerleading?
For me, it's all about attitude, energy, and teamwork. As a cheerleader, you have to be able to work well with your teammates and support each other both on and off the mat. You also have to have a lot of spirit and be able to get the crowd pumped up. But most importantly, you have to be willing to put in the hard work and dedication required to be a great cheerleader. mel marie cheerleader interview

Sure. A typical practice for us usually starts with a warm-up, which includes stretching, jogging, and getting our muscles loose. Then we'll move on to stunting and tumbling drills, where we work on perfecting our skills and learning new ones. We'll also practice our routines and work on our timing and synchronization. Finally, we'll end practice with a scrimmage or a mock competition to get ready for upcoming events.
A successful cheerleader must blend fierce competitive drive with a sense of sisterhood. Mel highlighted that every competition is an opportunity to make a team more resilient and united.
